Blast at DLSU-Manila on the Last Day of Bar Exams in Manila

At least 42 people, mostly bar examiners, were hurt on Sunday when a strong explosion erupted just below the Light Railway Transit’s (LRT) station in Vito Cruz front of De La Salle University - Manila just when 5,012 law graduates rushing out of the main entrance. Police said the explosion was so strong that its effect was felt even at the LRT.

Nine victims were brought to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) while 15 were rushed to Ospital ng Maynila. The others were brought to private hospitals.

Nine of the injured were identified as
Joanna Katrina Ledda, Arvin Francis Rosales, Philip Edwin Teelo, Gennilyn Ong, Cyril Ferrer, Kathleen Samba, Azenith Gonzalvo, Jamell Ann Marie and Renald Sudla. [gmanews.tv]

Police said that the blast was likely caused by "frat wars" and MAYBE two fraternities involved with the blast were Tau Gamma Phi and Alpha Kappa Rho.
